Black stones

I made a list this weekend.  A list of all the writing projects that I have started and have not finished.  The depressing part was it went onto a second page of 8.5″ by 11″ notebook paper.  All I could think of was that I was so behind.

What happens now?  I have to figure out what I am going to do about it.  That is your challenge this week.  Take a look at all of the stuff that you have sitting around, whether it is writing, education or other projects.  Make a list of them.  Post it next to your desk.  Then, when Twitter comes calling and Facebook starts whining at you look at that list and take the same 20 minutes that you would waste online to write something.  Or finish one task.  Or go make a sandwich.

Wait, that last one snuck in.  Anyway, go ahead, make your list.  See what you can do to make that list shorter.  My goal is to cross off half of these projects by the end of the year and have something done on each of them by Christmas.  Can I do it?  I sure hope so.

Go make a list now.  Share it below if you want.  But post it so you can see it so you will acknowledge what is there and figure out what to do with it.

That is all for today, happy September tomorrow, only 19 days to Talk Like A Pirate Day!
